Investment in Safety and Health

Samsung C&T Engineering and Construction recognizes safety as an investment not as a cost. Since 2021, in addition to the legally mandated industrial safety and health management expenses, we have allocated and executed additional safety enhancement budgets to secure on-site safety, including workforce expansion, improvement of working conditions, and adoption of smart safety technologies.
As of 2025, a total of KRW 171.7 billion has been executed, including KRW 99.4 billion in statutory occupational safety and health management expenses and KRW 25.6 billion in additional safety enhancement budget at project sites. In particular, we are actively investing in enhancing the safety and health capabilities of partner companies.

Establishment and operation of safety control room, construction method improvement and smart device utilization
Expanded installation of safety facilities to prevent fires and third-party accidents
Rest facilities for summer/winter seasons: personal lockers, showers, and changing rooms
